Week In Review

Week In Review – And the winner is…

Before I get to the news everyone is waiting for (the new name for the photo blog), I could finish this statement in a couple of ways:

1. The Blog

The idea began in a meeting about building a new website.  The conversation quickly steered towards communication and interaction between our people and our customers.  Suddenly, we ended up here.

The blog has without a doubt been a bigger success than we ever imagined; and in large part, it’s due to the “early adopters.”  We haven’t even told the world what we’re doing yet.  Thanks to the loyal readers and participants.

2. Morale

In talking to several people this week, there is a buzz going around about the “Carry Blog.”  People are starting to understand what we are trying to accomplish and are jumping on board. As more and more people become active it both the blog and photo journal, it will only continue to grow and become better.

If you have something you’d like to share, you can use this form or send an email to bmccann[at]carrytransit.com (you just have to replace the [at] with the @ symbol).

3.  Carry In Transit

You heard it hear first. Carry In Transit will be the name of our photo journal.  The man behind the name is the Pricing Department’s very own, Adnan.  When asked for how he came up the name, he said,

“I wanted to create a name that is catchy but also is descriptive about the what the blog is about. I feel like Carry in Transit has both those characteristics.”

Based on the voting, many of you agreed.

Carry In Transit will be our the home to our traveling camera sideshow (as it will be a companion piece to this blog).  It will feature pictures, video, and short posts from our terminals located nationwide.

Happy Friday!
